Journaling has always been a very important part of my life. Wherever I am, it’s likely that my journal and favorite pen is by my side. I have been writing for a very long time now. I go to my journal in moments of highs and lows. I like to think that my journal has helped shape me as it has also evolved with me over time. I run to my journal when I have a thought I need to get out, something I need to articulate on, a memory I want to keep forever, a creative spark, an ache for mindfulness and more. Often people ask me “How can I journal?”, “What do you journal about?” and “How do you journal?”. I want to answer these questions for everyone. I truly believe that you do not have to be a writer to write. Many studies have showed that journaling and mindful writing helps with anxiety and more. I want to build a community around this amazing act and I’m so excited that you’re interested in being a part of it.
